A pick’em for the jungle, run in the open
The Arena is a free skill game inside the Primates Discord. Every day a board of real games goes up — NFL, college football, MMA, whatever’s in season. You pick winners. Right picks pay, wrong picks cost, streaks multiply. That’s the whole game.
Nothing here costs anything and nothing here pays out in money. What you can win is permanent honors on your card, and — through the season’s draws — Primates the operator has already set aside. Every seat is the same seat: a holder and a first-day visitor play the exact same board on the exact same terms.
It’s also the front door to SOV3RN. If you’re new to all of this, the Arena is where you start.
Pick. Lock. Settle.
Run /arena in the Arena channel. Today’s board comes up with a price next to every side. Tap the side you like. That’s a pick. It locks at that game’s kickoff, and you can change your mind any time before then.
Example board. Prices are illustrative; real ones come from the day’s odds.
The math
The price is set the moment you pick, not when the game ends. Underdogs pay the most because they lose the most. A tie or a cancelled game is a void — your pick is refunded, nothing gained, nothing lost.
Eight picks a day, twelve on weekends. Saturday and Sunday each get their own twelve. Use them on the games you actually have a read on; a wrong pick costs the same whether you took a lock or a longshot.
The board runs in sprints. Four this season, about four weeks each, every sport on every board. Each sprint ends with a podium, permanent badges, and a prize to the champion — a different one every sprint. Then the board resets to zero and everyone is back in it. Sprint 1, Opening Drive, runs Sept 9 → Oct 6; the champion takes home a Misfit.
Honors are forever. Presence pays.
Every contest ends with permanent badges — podium, participation, milestones. Once a badge is on your card it can never be taken away, not by a reset, not by a new season. The honors ledger only ever grows.
Career 1,000 points puts you in the 1K Club — a standing badge, with your name in the receipts below.
The presence ladder — season-long, across every sprint
You don’t have to be the best to win this season. You have to be here. Make at least one pick in a week — any sport, any day — and that week counts, and it keeps counting across sprint closes. Rungs are permanent badges and entries in the season Primate draw.

And the room wins together
A stash of football-trait Primates is already earmarked for this season — leaving the operator’s wallet, not sitting in it. As the room grows, more of them enter the draw:
Nothing you earn is ever conditional on anyone else. The milestones only ever add. Draws are run in public — entry lists posted first, then the draw.
One team a week. Lose, and the Boneyard has you.
Survivor, Primates-style. Every NFL week you pick one team to win straight-up. Win, you live. Can’t reuse a team all season. Miss it entirely and the bot picks your biggest unused favorite for you — forgetting is not how you go out here.
There is no weekly deadline — only your team’s kickoff. Pick a team in the week’s first game and you’re locked that night; pick a Sunday team and you have all weekend; take the Monday-nighter and you can watch the whole slate first, then decide. Change your pick as often as you like until that game starts.
A tie means you survive (the team is still burned). A cancelled game refunds the pick entirely — the team comes back to you. And if a week would wipe out every remaining player in a bracket, nobody in that bracket falls: the jungle survives together.
Last one standing enters the ledger for good — and the Boneyard has a throne of its own. /eliminator to join or pick. /eliminator_board for the Living, the Undead and the Fallen. Late? You can join through Week 2’s first kickoff and start fresh with all 32 teams.
The Jungle Season
The Jungle Season opens. Sprint 1 — Opening Drive — begins; Road to Kickoff champion crowned and paid.
Opening Drive closes. Sprint champion takes the Misfit; Sprint 2 opens the next morning with its own prize.
Eliminator picks lock per team, at that team’s kickoff — the week’s first game for an opener team, Monday night for a Monday one. There is no shared deadline.
College football boards, up to 20 games deep.
NFL slates, all day. Picks lock per game.
First presence rung can mint — Suited Up for anyone with four weeks on the board.
Sprint 4 and the season close. Final board, final draw, honors minted, archive sealed.
Every sport stays on the board all season — MMA cards, college Saturdays, and the fall’s other seasons as they open. Football is the headline, not the fence. A game belongs to whichever sprint its kickoff falls inside.
The compass
These don’t change, and they don’t bend for anyone — including the operator.
- Free, forever. No buy-in, no holding requirement, no gate on eligibility. Every seat is the same seat.
- Rewards are merch, NFTs and traits. Never money. Nothing here pays out in dollars or tokens, and nothing here ever will.
- Honors are only ever added. A badge on your card stays there. Resets don’t touch it. New seasons don’t touch it.
- A void only ever refunds. Ties, cancellations, no-contests: the pick comes back to you. Nothing is taken.
- We never guess a result. If a winner can’t be verified from an official source, the game is a void — not a best effort.
- A game belongs to the contest its kickoff falls in. No moving fixtures between contests to change a board.
- Prizes are announced when they’re in hand. What’s promised is what’s already set aside. Everything else is a hint, and we say so.
- Everything happens in public. Boards, settlements, draws, transfers — with receipts in the channel.
